The multi-day expedition incorporates mountain biking, hiking, fishing, backpacking, kayaking, and more, along with workshops from thriving in the wild to thriving in society.
Workshops may include:
- knot-tying
- building credit
- tracking animals
- starting a business or non-profit
- camping & backpacking
- government & courts
- archery
- gardening
- buying a home
- self-defense (city and wilderness)
- budgeting
As you can see, these workshops span totally different environments, but in fact they have one singular goal - SURVIVAL!

They are 50 times more likely to get murdered.
They are 40 times more likely to be abused.
63% of youth who take their own lives were without a father in their home.
57% of prisoners are from homes lacking at least one parent.
There are 440,000 children in foster care nationally

- Teach young people useful skills that will help them cope with life and succeed in their efforts.
- Raise awareness of the rising occurrence and dangers of children growing up without one or both parents.
